deep enough to break axles, jar bones. The stretch between 51st and 49th is rapidly deteriorating after the last rains. At least 20 large potholes to fill. Heavy truck and bus traffic are enlarging them quickly. Sbound lanes worth checking too. Thx

The City of Oakland Call Center has received this issue. It is registered as service request #714711. Thank you, in advance, for your patience as we work through a backlog of pothole service requests. Unfortunately the City does not have enough funding to repave all streets in poor condition. With limited funding, our response to resurfacing requests is limited to minor pavement and pothole repairs only. Our Street Maintenance Department will assess your street and determine whether temporary measures might be appropriate. Please understand that this work may be limited to pothole or other minor repairs, and that we have many similar requests. We will do our best to respond in a timely manner. The backlog of streets in Oakland needing pavement currently is $435 million and growing.

You would have to be blind not to see potholes all over the city.
City officials must be blind, because they drive the same streets.

This stretch of Telegraph is particularly bad, especially by Walgreens/Bake-Sale Betty. "The city does not have funding" to fix potholes... BUT this is a MAJOR road use by hundreds of people daily! Prioritize!

It's dangerous for cyclists - as cars quickly swerve to avoid potholes. It is damaging to parked vehicles as well - I saw a side mirror of a parked car get hit as someone driving adjusted too quickly to avoid the massive potholes. A few months back I blew out a tire on one of these potholes by 48th/Telegraph.

City officials collect frivolous fraudulent charges on my tax bill to pay themselves wholesome salaries, but don't care about their city looks like.
Typical Democratic policy, look at Detroit, what they did to that city.
